- Make a workbench from old wooden furniture that you no longer use.
- Make shelves at a corner. This way, you will have more space to put your tools on. This will also help you work ergonomically by having most tools within your reach. You can use old transparent jars for the screws, nails, and other small metal parts.
- Hang pegs near the shelves. Hang your tools and trace the tools with a bold marker to remind you what goes where.
- Designate a convenient rag area where you can easily grab hold of one when needed.
